Know the History of NEBOSH

NEBOSH stands as "The National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Hygiene".Its founded in 1979, NEBOSH was primarily an examination board in the United Kingdom. It is responsible for providing courses in safety, health, and risk management. 

The NEBOSH syllabus and assessment methods are used to guide vocational training. There are over 80 countries that have NEBOSH centres. Some of the most prestigious institutions recognize NEBOSH’s certifications courses as being highly respected, including the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (commonly called IEMA), the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or IOSH, and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (commonly called IIRSM).

NEBOSH's headquarters is located in Leicester, United Kingdom. All certification courses are followed up by examinations by the NEBOSH board. These examination papers are reviewed by external examiners who have extensive experience in the area of safety and health management.

Over 400 Nebosh training course providers are available in the United Kingdom, and around the globe. They are ready and waiting to receive certifications. Due to the high demand for the courses, these centers are always busy.

There are two main types of courses offered by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health: The General Certificate Course and The Diploma Course.
